SillyMaxx 1400: A tribute to the best air blaster line ever
This is the SillyMaxx 1400. The SM1400 is my tribute to the best air blaster line of all time, the SuperMaxx line by Larami.

All the hardware used for a SillyMaxx 1400 comes from a Nerf Titan air blaster.

The SillyMaxx 1400 is a reshell of a Nerf Titan AS-V1, a Nerf air blaster sold on shelves between 2003 and 2010. These blasters are reasonably easy to find on eBay.
The air tank and pump from the Titan power the SillyMaxx 1400, and all the screws needed to assemble the blaster also come from the original Titan shell.
Performance
Performance numbers contributed by Shaznazabbadaz!
These numbers are with the maximum amount of pumps before the stock Titan over pressure release valve kicks off. These numbers can be significantly increased with a plugged pump.

Lineage and Inspiration
The SillyMaxx 1400 is based off of the SuperMaxx line of blasters, my favorite blaster series of all time. The SuperMaxx line of air blasters was made by Larami from 1994 to 1996, and it was the first series of blasters to show off the power of air tanks for foam blasting.
In 1995 Hasbro bought out Larami, and the SuperMaxx line was released under Nerf from 1997 to 2001. These blasters tend to lack the charm that the original Larami line had, and it was discontinued in 2001.
In 2002, Nerf released the AirTech line, which was a direct evolution of the SuperMaxx series of blasters, just in a new shell style.
The original Larami SuperMaxx line was a beautiful series, full of several amazing blasters. I decided to use this original line as inspiration when I designed the SillyMaxx 1400. Specifically, the SillyMaxx 1400 is a combination of the SuperMaxx 2000 and SuperMaxx 500 blasters.
It was really fun to think “what if the original series was never killed off?” and extrapolate what could have happened!
When I had to think of an air tank to power my mashup idea, I settled on an old friend: the Nerf Titan tank. These air tanks have been used by modders for many years to stick massive power in a reasonably small volume.
A few years before I designed the SillyMaxx 1400, I had modified a SuperMaxx 5000 by shoving a Titan tank inside it, paired with a massive CPVC breech. So I knew that the air tank would work well in the form factor!
