Design Lineage

I designed the SillyPistol because I needed a side arm, I don’t like needing different mags for my blaster (so angled mags or Zinc mags were out), and I really don’t like the feeling of mag in grip blasters. I also wanted a massive amount of power.

The SillyPistol can hit anywhere from 100fps to 220 fps depending on spring and barrel length.

As with many of my other designs, the SillyPistol is an amalgamation of several design ideas from other blasters. Here's a nice list:

• SuperSledge derived catch and plunger (heavily modified)

• Indra grip (heavily modified)

• Lynx derived turnaround and magwell (heavily modified)

The SillyPistol has been cannibalized many times to create other blasters. Some highlights include:

• The original SLAB was fully SillyPistol based

• The current SLAB’s plunger system and hand guard

• The Thumper v2’s top slide and grip

• The Kitsune by North East Designs uses the Turnaroundn’t and muzzle collets

• The Typhon by Mighty Shrub uses the muzzle collets

• The Cynthia uses the plunger, muzzle collet, and grip

• Several of my AEG prototypes are SillyPistol based

• The PBR bow uses the plunger and grips

• Etc etc etc.
